Every New England state assembled at University of Rhode Island

Our third year at the University of Rhode Island was a memorable one, with teams from all six New England states competing! This won't happen again until the District Championship next month!
Thank you to university President Mark Parlange and College of Engineering Dean Anthony Marchese for welcoming our teams to the campus. Electrical engineering graduate student Anna Cetera gave a wonderful opening presentation encouraging students to consider URI for undergrad.
Two of our winning teams put up a New England qualification round high score of 595 in Match 25, and made sure to pair up again in playoffs to bring home the win. They broke 600 with a penalty-free high score of 612 in their first playoff match.
The event was host to a special moment: the first New England team to earn a blue banner aka win an event in all six New England states rounded out their collection in Rhode Island! Congratulations to FRC 5687, The Outliers!
