FIRST Tech Challenge
FIRST Tech Challenge students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform, powered by Android technology, and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming.

Join in the fun! NE FIRST events are open to the public.
A typical competition starts with teams arriving, getting set up, and practicing before they participate in matches that determine their qualification ranking. Events will include an opening ceremony each morning, a lunch break (concessions available!) and a concluding awards ceremony! When you arrive, look for the info desk to find the day's schedule or a map of where teams from near you are set up. Questions? Email the contacts on this page!
