FIRST programs are meant for students in all grades, Pre-K through high school. No matter where you are in New England, it's never too late to find a program near you! All skills and levels of expertise are welcome and needed: you can learn as you go or bring your current interests and hobbies to the next level.

Grades PreK-1

Use LEGO DUPLO blocks to explore this year's Theme and build a solution to a Challenge!

Grades 2-4

Code and create unique solutions to real-world programs, powered by LEGO Education SPIKE Essential or WeDo 2.0.

Grades 4-8

Build and program a LEGO robot that navigates the missions of a table-top robot game.

Grades 7-12

Design, build, and code Java-based robots from a reusable kit to compete in an alliance format against other teams.

Grades 9-12

Prototype, CAD, build and program industrial-size robots to play a difficult field game in alliance with other teams.

FIRST has taught me leadership skills, built my confidence, and helped me develop real-world problem-solving skills.

Many of my closest friends have been made through FIRST programs and I wouldn't be the person I am today without it.
