Week 2 in New England: Coopertition at Granite State

The 12th annual Granite State District Event brought its name to Bedford High School, where the Southern NH District Event was held in 2017 and 2019! Hosting 34 teams from New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts, we saw tons of excitement in this great venue.

Granite State is historically planned and run by amazing volunteers from NE FIRST sponsor BAE Systems! Thank you to their Senior Engineer Eric Mercer for welcoming teams to this year's competition.

In true FIRST spirit, 6 teams displayed both Gracious Professionalism and Coopertition when they put in a Herculean joint effort to get rookie team FRC 10937 onto the field. We love seeing our teams help each other succeed and raise the bar of the entire event.

The high score of qualifications, 431, was posted by the eventual first-ranked team. They beat it twice in playoffs, with Alliance 1 breaking 400 in almost all of their playoff matches and scoring high at 464.
