Overtime thrills lead to Week 5 victory in Vermont

We've played the last district qualifiers in New England! In just ten days we'll be kicking off the New England District Championship at The Big E with 100 teams from all over our region!

The second annual UVM District Event welcomed teams from New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine and of course Vermont to the University of Vermont.

Thank you to our many special guests and speakers:

  • Dr. Marlene Tromp, President of the University of Vermont

  • Tyler Seeholzer, lead for Pilot and Maintenance training at BETA Technologies

  • Mandar Dewoolkar, Dean of UVM’s College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences

  • Lauren Bass, the Head of Strategic Partnerships at OVR Technology

After putting up a high score of 644 in qualification matches together, two top teams became captains of their own alliances and put up even more scores in the 600s over their playoff matches. They played each other a total of 5 times, with one true tie and one overtime match, before Alliance 2 finally took home the win!
