Preparing to Register for Events
Attached is a checklist of steps required to be a fully registered team ready to compete at one of the FLL Challenge qualifying events in November. Please review this list carefully.
Event Schedule
Saturday, November 14
Career High School in New Haven
Lyme-Old Lyme High School
Sunday, November 15
Farmington High School
Saturday, November 21
Tolland High School
DePaulo Middle School in Southington
Event Registration
Event registration is targeted for Saturday, October 17, for all teams that are Event Ready with two Lead Coaches who have passed the Youth Protection screening. It's also time to start having your students register in the FIRST Dashboard.
Event registration will occur via an EventBrite link, which will be sent out the week before October 17. Each team gets one registration, and remember that each registration on the EventBrite is for one team. Multiple registrations will result in all registrations being deleted and you will have to start over. Please have first, second, or even third choices as sometimes events fill up fast.
The number of spots at an event will be determined right before signup. It will be the number of eligible teams in Connecticut divided by 5 (equal to the number of events). We will have approximately evenly-sized events: for example with 100 teams now we would have 20 teams per event.
Golden Tickets to States
Each event will have 8–10 Golden Tickets for the CT State FLL Challenge Championship in Glastonbury on December 12.

These differences do not change the fundamental nature of the game, but they make each personal experience more varied. This flexibility is one reason "monkey mart" can appeal to people looking for a relaxed game while still wanting enough room to explore and experiment.
