Limit to 10 people per team.
The University of Bridgeport Security Team requires a list of the number of Coaches and Students that will utilize the space. Each Team can provide up to two names that Security will need on file, we do not need students names, just approximate numbers. As of January, each coach will need to have a UB ID taken which will be on file with Security. Once the designated Coach arrives for their scheduled time he or she will need to call the UB security dispatch center and they will come to open the door. As you unload and work, please keep in mind that the doors are always locked. When you leave the building make sure you close the door behind you and that no trash is left behind, there are trash cans in the space and a dumpster across from the loading dock in the parking lot. Please keep in mind that UB holds classes and other community events in the Building as well.
HOURS
Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri: from 2–9:30 p.m.
Saturdays: from 3–9:30 p.m.
Sundays: 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
Thursdays: closed
(You must be packed up and out of the building at 9:30 p.m. Security will come to lock the main door each night)
Please write your team # on game pieces & field elements that you bring.
PRACTICE SPACE RULES:
All mentors visiting the space must be registered on FIRST website & have cleared YPP screening.
No food or drinks on the field
Do not show up unannounced. Schedule your visit through this site. Your time is not secured until it is confirmed.
Keep in mind that there will be other students in the building particularly right next door is the Goodwin Welding School. Students should remain in the practice field as much as possible unless they are using the bathrooms. Do not wander around inside or outside of the building.
Please clean up after your team and put all trash in garbage or bring it out to the dumpster located across from the loading dock if possible.
Do not hold Drive Team Tryouts at the practice field.
Limit your team visit to no more than 10 team members.
Students must wear safety glasses when on the field or using machinery.
Teams are not allowed to use FRC 3634 equipment if Gwen Brantley or Ryan Munden are not in attendance to give you permission.

PARKING
There is ample parking in various locations on campus. The most convenient for teams will be the parking lot adjacent to the practice field building (when classes are in session this parking lot will more than likely be filled). The other best option will be John J. Cox Student Center Parking which is located across Myrtle Avenue. Mentors should provide to UB security their vehicle registration and insurance when they get their badge to receive a parking permit for the lot.
