Every FRC district event has its own page on our website, where the planning committees can share helpful details before competition season!
A reminder that a number of events are scheduled during religious holidays:
Ramadan: all competitions prior to sundown on March 18 (Weeks 1 / 2)
Eid al-Fitr: evening of March 19 – March 20 (URI)
Pesach (Passover): April 2 – April 5 (UVM, WPI)
Good Friday and Easter Sunday: April 3 & April 5 (UVM, WPI)

Giving Tuesday 2025: December 2nd!
Giving Tuesday is a global movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. Every year, it follows Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday as a way to remind us that everyone has the power to do good when they give their time, share their expertise, and donate to causes they love.
Help NE FIRST reach our individual giving goal: we have just $9,500 to go of $50,000 before June 30, 2026!
Anyone who donates $25 or more before FRC Kickoff will receive a free WE ARE NE banner for your pit, shop or home! Banners will be delivered to pits at FRC District Events.
And don't forget that Volunteer Registration is open for 2026! Log in to the FIRST Dashboard to sign up for any of our district events, or visit the event pages linked above to find Express Invitations to volunteer for each:
Action: Did your team forget to opt out of the KOP drive base?
NE FIRST is looking for a small number of Kit of Parts drive bases to assist pre-rookie teams in 2026! If your team accidentally stayed opted in to receive the 2026 AndyMark drive base and do not plan to use it, please be in touch with Scott Heaton so we can make arrangements to purchase the base from you.
Teams will be provided with the same credit for opting out via the FIRST Dashboard: $450 credit to AndyMark.com. Available to the first 5 teams to be in touch, as a start. Thank you in advance!
Save the Dates: 2026 State Championships
Top teams in both Connecticut and Massachusetts will be invited to compete at their respective State Championships following the FIRST Championship in May! Invitations will be based on District Rankings prior to the New England District Championship.
❤️ May 17, 2026: CAS-CIAC State Championship at Glastonbury High School
💙 May 30, 2026: Massachusetts State Championship at Merrimack College
These events will kick off the REBUILT off-season in New England! Additional spring off-seasons will be confirmed by January 31, and fall off-seasons will be confirmed by May 31.
