[FLL Explore MA] Season Welcome

Hello Teams,

My name is Jacob Janssens, and I am the Program Delivery Partner for FIRST LEGO League Explore in Massachusetts. Welcome to the BIOGLOW Season! I hope your teams enjoy their season journey this season learning about biodiversity. The following information is exclusively for FIRST LEGO League Explore, and not FIRST LEGO League Future Edition.

There is currently one Official Festival event scheduled for Tuesday, November 17, in Bolton. If you would be interested in attending this event in Bolton, please let me know, and I will connect you with the director of that event. If you would like to host an Official Festival Event for other teams, in either the fall or in the spring, please let me know and I will send that out to all of the teams.

This is the final season of FIRST LEGO League. Following this season, FIRST will transition to a new program for K–8 students, using legacy technology (SPIKE products) as well as another platform that has not yet been announced. The name of this program is not yet announced; you may see it referred to as "Next Generation K–8". Please take a moment to view FIRST's transition plan for the next generation of K-8 FIRST Programs.

If FIRST announces more details about the Next Generation of K–8 Programs, I will make sure to update you. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have questions about the current season and the team's journey.

Thanks,

—Jacob, FLL Explore Massachusetts Partner
