Tom Rishworth
Outreach & Education Resource, Rhode Island

Tom Rishworth joined New England FIRST in September 2024, focusing on supporting and growing FIRST teams and programs in Rhode Island, and engaging and connecting local industry, government and other partners in FIRST across New England. A Rhode Island native, he is a 2019 Alum of FIRST Tech Challenge Teams 701 and 9219 from North Kingstown, RI, and continues to mentor the five FTC teams at North Kingstown High School.

Tom has served as a FIRST Technical Advisor for FTC in Rhode Island and New Hampshire, as well as an FTA Assistant, Control Systems Advisor and A/V Lead for FRC in New England, since 2019.

Prior to joining NE FIRST, Tom was a Marketing & Development Specialist at a local non-profit in Plymouth, NH, providing youth Substance Misuse Prevention Education to 18 rural towns in Central New Hampshire.

Tom currently lives in his Hometown of North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
