Field: Half of an FRC competition field as needed by for the 2025 game. This may change to a full field in 2026 if the game requires it.  Elements and drive station are constructed out of wood, teams are welcome to help build and lay out new field at the start of the season.

Game Pieces: As many as IBOTS can afford, please bring your own if you can.  Condition of game pieces cannot be guaranteed.

Tool and Supplies: We have hand tools and some supplies (wood, polycarb, HDPE) as well as some basic consumables (zip ties, tape, etc) for teams to do basic build and repair. Spare radios, wire, connectors, and such are available upon request. Worktables available if they actually get cleaned off.

Connectivity: We will have tether cables available.  If you would like to drive wirelessly you will need to bring a second Vividhost radio.  We are installing Chezy Arena for the 2026 season and expect a wired, functional FMS to be available by January.

Power: Ample power including power strips and extension cordsComputers: Several desktop and laptop computers onsite for visitor use with wifi connection.  Please bring a drive station though.

Scheduling: Please contact Dan on 2370 IBOTS for access. Advanced notice is appreciated, but honestly who can stick to a schedule like that.

Safety: We have some PPE (Safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection) available to borrow, please bring your own when possible. First Aid Kit, Battery Spill Kit, and Fire Extinguisher on site.

Food/Drinks: Allowed, but please empty trash and cleanup when you leave.

Note: This is located within a Makerspace. Only makerspace members have access to the shops (Wood, Metal, Textiles, etc). IBOTS can provide a mentor to build in the shop if you need parts fabricated with advanced notice. Makerspace rules will be posted on the practice field, please be considerate and follow all policies.
