Drew has been involved in FIRST Robotics in New England since 2013 and has been a mentor since 2017, serving as a CAD & Mechanical mentor for teams 4564, 6329, and 3467. He is currently an Education Solutions Engineer for Onshape and PTC Education, where he has spent almost 3,000 hours in Onshape and worked with a large number of FRC teams to troubleshoot Onshape and teach CAD best practices.

Teaching Onshape to Students without Stressing

Get the tools and techniques you need to effectively teach Onshape to your FIRST students. This session, led by experts in both FIRST and Onshape, will cover best practices for introducing CAD concepts, structuring lessons, and guiding students through hands-on projects using Onshape’s cloud-based platform. Learn how to build skills progressively, manage student work in real time, and empower learners of all experience levels to contribute confidently to your team’s design process.
